The department is the largest in the College as it incorporates all the trainee teachers.  

It’s the department that teaches all the professional courses which defines a “Teacher”

 

Such courses include:-

• Foundations of Education

• Educational Psychology

• Education Administration and Financial Management

• General Teaching Methods

 

The department’s mandate is to equip teacher trainees with knowledge and skills that distinguishes them as Teachers.  Indeed we have fulfilled this mandate effectively as testified from the praises by schools where our teacher trainees have gone for Teaching Practice.

 

Its our resolve to go an extra mile in making sure that our teacher trainees graduate into qualified, disciplined, focused and hardworking teachers in the field of work
